Health & Goals Assessments

All new members receive a health and wellness baseline report from our InBody 270, and a health and goals assessment consultation with Adam. Many existing members find benefit in repeating this process to track progress and reevaluate their goals. Non-members also find this program to be extremely helpful in understanding their body composition and discussing changes they might make to optimize the attainment of their goals. The InBody 270 is a sophisticated piece of technology and CrossFit North Port possesses the area’s only one.

1-on-1 Fundamentals

Here at CrossFit North Port, form is everything. The movements that comprise a CrossFit workout are skills. For example, the Olympic lifts are integral to our programming. We are talking about an Olympic-level skill! We want you to be safe, confident, and prepared for your first group class, so all new members are taught the fundamental skills one-on-one by one of our highly-trained coaches and must demonstrate proficiency before graduating to group class. This program is unique to our gym, and we have found it to contribute greatly to the overall success of our members. Confident, safe, happy: our focus is you.

Personal Training

Many members elect to utilize Personal Training to accelerate the achievement of specific goals. Whether you’re are looking to lose weight, increase strength, improve technique, prepare for a competition, or just prefer a more personal setting, an individually-tailored program and one-on-one support provide optimal results.

Your private coaching experience will be tailored to your specific needs, and will include:

  • Mobility exercises to improve and restore joint range of motion
  • Skill-based warm-up to prepare for specific movement patterning
  • Strength and conditioning exercises chosen to specifically achieve your goal
  • Post-workout recovery techniques
  • Nutritional guidance
  • Health, wellness, and lifestyle support

Personal Training is recommended if you have been inactive for a long period of time, are training for a specific sport or event, have significant health limitations, or just prefer additional attention and accountability.

Nutrition coaching

We have seen time and again, the profound impact that improved eating habits can have on overall health and happiness.  Oftentimes, we see members becoming frustrated because they are working out hard and consistently, but not seeing the changes they want in their body. We call it the 80/20 rule: 80% of health and fitness improvements happen in the kitchen, while 20% happen in the gym. Dialing in nutrition is almost always the missing piece that makes everything else fall into place. Whether your goals are to lose 20 pounds or to finally carve out those six-pack abs you’ve always wanted, we can help you get there. You and Adam will discuss your current eating habits and develop a workable plan based on your goals and needs. He will keep you accountable through scheduled meetings. Nutrition Coaching starts at just $85/month.

INBODY 270 BODY COMPOSITION ANALYSIS

We’ve invested in the state-of-the-art InBody 270  composition analysis tool in order to fully and accurately understand your health. Going beyond weight, body composition analysis breaks down your body into four components: fat, lean body mass, minerals, and body water.

The results provide us with clear, comprehensive data to track your health and fitness throughout your health and wellness journey.

That is why we are constantly seeking out new ways to assist you in the attainment of your goals.

We offer a number of programs that can be utilized in addition to, or in place of, our regular CrossFit group classes. Maybe you really want to lose some weight and would benefit from some Nutritional Coaching, or perhaps you want to compete in a CrossFit or weightlifting competition and would like some Personal Training sessions to perfect specific skills. Or maybe you don’t want to take group classes at all and would like to setup personal training with a small group of your friends. We recognize that we all have different needs, and we will do everything in our power to meet yours.
